About the Role

V-Patrol AI is seeking a visionary and highly accomplished Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead and scale the entire technical organization.
The CTO will oversee technology strategy, engineering excellence, AI innovation, cybersecurity architecture, and technical execution across all product lines.

This role requires an exceptional technical leader capable of driving large-scale system design, mentoring high-performance engineering teams, and steering the company toward advancements in AI, cyber intelligence, offensive and defensive security, and large-scale data systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Leadership & Strategy

• Define and execute the technology roadmap aligned with company vision and long-term goals.
• Lead cross-functional technical teams across AI/ML, Cybersecurity, OSINT/SOC products, Backend Engineering, and DevOps.
• Ensure V-Patrol’s tech stack remains scalable, secure, and future-ready.

Architectural Ownership

• Architect and oversee large-scale systems, including:
• Distributed backend infrastructures
• AI/ML platforms
• Data pipelines and analytics engines
• Threat intelligence ecosystems
• Offensive and defensive cyber tools
• Ensure data security, compliance, performance, and reliability across platforms.

Cyber & Intelligence Expertise

• Provide leadership in:
• Cyber threat intelligence
• Offensive and defensive security
• Malware analysis and exploit research
• AI-assisted intelligence systems
• Maintain a world-class internal and external security posture.

Team Leadership & Culture Building

• Build, scale, and mentor a multi-disciplinary technical organization (engineers, analysts, researchers, architects).
• Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, accountability, and technical excellence.
• Oversee technical hiring, performance evaluation, and succession planning.

Product Development & Delivery

• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle: idea → architecture → implementation → testing → deployment.
• Ensure timely, secure, and high-quality product delivery.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and leadership teams to ensure strategic alignment.

Research & Innovation

• Drive R&D in AI/ML, automation, cyber-offense, threat modeling, and data intelligence.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and determine business adoption feasibility.
• Represent the company in high-level technical discussions, client interactions, and strategic partnerships.

Required Skills & ExperienceTechnical Mastery (Must-Have)

• 10+ years in software engineering, cybersecurity, AI/ML, or related fields.
• Deep technical expertise in:
• Scalable backend architecture (Python/Go/Node)
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Big data systems and pipelines
• AI/ML model development
• Security engineering & cyber architecture
• Strong understanding of:
• Offensive and defensive cyber tools
• Threat intelligence and malware analysis
• DevOps, SRE best practices, and automation

Leadership Competencies

• Proven experience leading teams of 30–100+ technical professionals.
• Ability to create clarity in ambiguity and guide organizations through rapid scaling.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical storytelling abilities.

Industry Exposure

• Preferred experience in DefenseTech, Cybersecurity, AI, Intelligence, Government, or high-security environments.
• Bonus: Collaboration experience with armed forces, law enforcement, or government agencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, AI/ML, or related fields.
• Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, OSCE, AWS/Azure Architect, ML Specialist are advantageous.
• Experience building enterprise-grade products from scratch.
• Exposure to offensive security R&D and AI-enabled cyber tools.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
