Data Science Engineer

As a Data Science Engineer at V-Patrol AI, a fast-paced cybersecurity company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning and deep learning models. Your responsibilities will include building scalable data pipelines, integrating APIs for model deployment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions. Additionally, you will monitor model performance and communicate findings effectively through various mediums such as dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop machine learning and deep learning models for cybersecurity applications. - Build and manage data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data types like network logs and threat feeds. - Develop and integrate APIs for model deployment and real-time data flow. - Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making. - Monitor model performance and optimize for production environments. - Communicate insights effectively through dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. - Proficiency in Python, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch. - Experience with REST APIs, FastAPI/Flask, and data preprocessing techniques. - Familiarity with ML/DL models such as XGBoost, LSTMs, Transformers, etc. - Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS/GCP, ETL tools, Docker/Kubernetes, etc. - Cybersecurity experience is a plus, including threat detection and incident response.
