Data Science Engineer Internship
As a Data Science Engineer Intern at V-Patrol AI, a dynamic and forward-thinking cybersecurity organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge machine learning and deep learning models. Your primary focus will be on creating scalable data pipelines and generating valuable insights in real-time to counter cyber threats effectively. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing machine learning and deep learning models tailored for cybersecurity applications. Additionally, you will be involved in constructing and overseeing data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data sources such as network logs and threat feeds. Integrating APIs for model deployment and ensuring seamless real-time data flow will also be a key aspect of your role. Collaboration with software engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to support data-informed decision-making processes is essential. Monitoring model performance and optimizing them for production environments will be part of your routine tasks. Furthermore, you will be responsible for conveying your findings through informative dashboards, reports, and visualizations. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field. Proficiency in Python, pandas, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow/PyTorch is necessary. Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Fast API/Flask, and data preprocessing techniques is crucial. Familiarity with various ML/DL models like XGBoost, LSTMs, and Transformers is expected. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP, ETL tools, Docker/Kubernetes, etc., would be advantageous. While not mandatory, prior experience in cybersecurity, particularly in areas like threat detection and incident response, would be beneficial. In addition to the required skills and experience, expertise in adversarial machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) will be considered a significant advantage. Having a GitHub profile or a portfolio showcasing real-world projects in data science or cybersecurity will be a strong preference. This position is an internship opportunity that requires your presence at the designated work location.,
