from PostgreSQL/Firebase (Cladbe's core data) to Elasticsearch/KeyDB for the Marketplace's low-latency search and real-time inventory updates.Scalability for Tier-1 & Tier-2:
Architect a fault-tolerant, high-concurrency microservices layer (leveraging the existing stack of PostgreSQL, JanusGraph, Kafka, KeyDB
) capable of handling millions of real-time listing views, instantaneous lead scoring, and concurrent project launch sales.AI/ML Integration:
Champion the practical application of AI, starting with our core use cases: Lead Scoring & Routing
, automated follow-up workflows, and integrating InsightFace
for reliable field-agent attendance verification—a critical factor for CP/Builder trust in the Indian market.
2. Product Leadership & Innovation
B2B SaaS Excellence (Cladbe):
Oversee the development of mission-critical features like Smart Documentation
, granular unit inventory management, and the Builder-CP collaboration layer. Drive efficiency improvements that make our platform indispensable for compliance and project lifecycle management.B2C Marketplace Disruption (Property.new):
Lead the technical roadmap for creating a "Transaction-First" platform that radically improves the consumer experience. Focus on immersive discovery (Map-based search, 360° virtual tours) and ensuring 100% Verified Listings
—a direct competitive advantage over legacy portals like 99Acres/MagicBricks.WebRTC/Communication Layer:
Strategize the integration of LiveKit
and Plivo
to build a robust, in-app communication suite for verified lead-to-agent/builder connections, moving beyond simple WhatsApp-only reliance.
3. Engineering Team & Operational Mastery
Elite Talent Acquisition:
Be the face of our engineering culture. Attract, mentor, and retain top-tier talent in India, specifically individuals proficient in Dart/Flutter, Next.js, Go/Rust
(for high-performance API services), and modern DevOps practices (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes).Tech-GTM Alignment:
Work closely with the CMO/Sales team to implement technical systems that directly support the Go-To-Market strategy, from automating the initial "Feet-on-Street" builder onboarding process to optimizing content-led and WhatsApp marketing automation.Security & RERA Compliance:
Establish and enforce world-class security protocols, data governance policies, and disaster recovery plans. Ensure all data handling and documentation features are fully compliant with RERA
and Indian data privacy standards.
Required Technical Expertise
5+ years
of progressive experience in software engineering, with 3+ years
in an executive/leadership role (VP of Engineering, CTO, or Head of Technology) at a high-growth SaaS or Marketplace company, preferably in PropTech/FinTech.Deep hands-on expertise
in our core stack: Dart/Flutter
(for the B2B OS) and Next.js
(for the B2C Marketplace).- Proven ability to design and scale complex, distributed systems using:
Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, KeyDB (or Redis), and AWS/GCP.
- Experience with
Graph Databases (JanusGraph)
or knowledge of complex data modeling for interconnected entities (Builders, Projects, Units, CPs, Leads). - A strong, demonstrable understanding of how technology drives commercial outcomes in the Indian context (e.g., trust deficit mitigation, high-touch sales cycle enablement).
