Chief Operating Officer

Position Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for driving and overseeing the end-to-end operations of Asset Reconstruction Company. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in streamlining processes, ensuring effective governance, and aligning business functions with the company’s strategic objectives. The role requires a strong understanding of ARC operations, coupled with the ability to oversee critical support functions including IT, HR, Finance, and Audit.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management:

  Lead, monitor, and enhance the overall operations of the ARC, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and seamless execution.

• Process Excellence:

  Define, implement, and improve process flows for ARC operations to align with regulatory requirements and business goals.

• Transaction Monitoring:

  Evaluate and report on the stage and status of transactions, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and timely updates to senior management.

• Technology Oversight:

  Provide strategic direction and oversight for IT systems and processes to support business scalability and security.

• People & Culture:

  Oversee HR function including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement to build a high-performing culture.

• Financial Stewardship:

  Supervise Finance function to ensure sound financial management, compliance, and accurate reporting.

• Risk & Governance:

  Provide oversight to the Audit function, ensuring strong internal controls, compliance with regulatory norms, and proactive risk management.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of experience in financial services, with significant exposure to ARC / NBFC / Banking operations.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing ARC business.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and process management capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
