Chief Operating Officer

Unit Head of the hospital is responsible for overseeing the entire hospital operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing hospital staff, and achieving organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

Lead and manage all hospital functions, including clinical, administrative, and operational activities.

Ensure smooth day-to-day operations while adhering to healthcare standards and regulatory guidelines.

Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment by providing direction and support to all hospital departments.

Understanding of oncology

Operational Efficiency:

Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the hospital is running within budget.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and hospital metrics to track and improve performance.

Ensure adequate patient care and quality control mechanisms are in place across all departments.

Financial Management:

Oversee the hospital's financial performance, including budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning.

Ensure cost-effective and quality care through appropriate resource management and inventory control.

Monitor revenue generation, patient admissions, and reimbursement processes.

Patient Care and Quality:

Ensure high-quality patient care services, safety, and satisfaction standards.

Address patient grievances and implement corrective actions as needed to improve patient experience.

Implement and monitor clinical protocols and safety standards to ensure adherence to best practices.

Staff Management:

Manage recruitment, training, and retention strategies for all hospital staff.

Lead and mentor department heads, ensuring smooth teamwork and communication between various functions.
