Job Tittle - Chief Manager – Digital Marketing

The Chief Manager – Digital Marketing is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing the company’s digital marketing strategy. We have an in-house digital marketing team comprising of 20 personnel taking care of its analytical and creative wing. This role ensures strong online brand presence, drives customer acquisition, boosts engagement, and delivers measurable growth through digital channels. The position leads digital campaigns, performance marketing, social media, analytics, and marketing automation while managing internal teams and external agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Digital Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Identify emerging digital trends, tools, and platforms to enhance brand performance.
  • Establish digital KPIs, annual budgets, and forecasting plans.

2. Performance Marketing

  • Lead and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Programmatic).
  • Monitor performance metrics like CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and conversions.
  • Conduct A/B testing to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Manage retargeting and remarketing strategies.

3. Social Media Management

  • Oversee content strategy for all social media platforms.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and drive audience engagement.
  • Manage influencer collaborations, partnerships, and digital PR initiatives.
  • Track social media analytics and improve overall reach and performance.

4. SEO, SEM & Website Management

  • Lead SEO initiatives to increase organic traffic and improve search ranking.
  • Manage SEM campaigns and keyword strategies.
  • Oversee website performance, UX/UI optimization, content updates, and landing page improvements.
  • Ensure proper tracking (GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console).

5. Content Strategy

  • Plan and approve content for blogs, website, social media, emails, videos, and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with creative teams for high-quality digital assets.
  • Maintain consistent brand tone and messaging across all digital touchpoints.

6. Marketing Automation & CRM

  • Manage CRM platforms and marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.).
  • Develop lead nurturing workflows to improve conversion and retention.
  • Execute email/SMS campaigns and analyse customer journey performance.

7. Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyse performance reports across digital channels and prepare dashboards.
  • Track KPIs, identify insights, and recommend improvements.
  • Present digital marketing performance and strategy updates to senior leadership.

8. Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing executives, analysts, and content creators.
  • Conduct performance reviews and ensure continuous skill development.
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams (sales, product, IT, etc.).

9. Vendor & Agency Management

  • Manage relationships with digital agencies, media partners, and technology vendors.
  • Oversee agency performance, deliverables, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure cost-effective and high-quality execution of digital activities.

10. Brand Building & Innovation

  • Strengthen brand reputation through innovative digital campaigns.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Introduce new digital tools, automation systems, and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing with Digital Marketing Qualification

Experience

  • 8–12+ years of proven experience in digital marketing.
  • Strong exposure to performance marketing, social media paid campaigns in Google, SEO/SEM management.

Technical Skills

  • Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz)
  • Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager
  • CRM & automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo)
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms

Salary – 1,25,000 to 1, 40,000 per month .
