Job Purpose

The CFO will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, managing the companys financial health, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth through sound financial planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Financial Leadership

• Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  
• Advise the CEO/Board on financial performance, growth opportunities, and risks.
  
• Drive profitability, cost optimization, and long-term value creation.
  

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  
• Prepare accurate financial reports and dashboards for management decision-making.
  
• Monitor business performance against budgets and market trends.
  

Accounting, Compliance & Governance

• Oversee preparation of financial statements in line with statutory requirements.
  
• Ensure compliance with taxation laws, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  
• Liaise with auditors, regulatory authorities, and legal bodies.
  

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Manage working capital, cash flow, and liquidity.
  
• Optimize capital structure, fundraising, and banking relationships.
  
• Lead treasury operations, investments, and debt management.
  

Risk Management & Internal Controls

• Establish and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
  
• Ensure safeguarding of company assets.
  

Stakeholder & Investor Relations

• Communicate financial performance to Board, investors, and external stakeholders.
  
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and other financial institutions.
  
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring activities.
  

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and develop finance, accounts, and compliance teams.
  
• Implement financial systems, ERP, and automation initiatives.
  
• Build a culture of financial discipline and accountability across the organization.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of financial planning, accounting, and corporate finance.
  
• Expertise in taxation, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  
• Proven track record in fundraising, M&A, and stakeholder management.
  
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics/Tally) and financial modeling tools.
  

Qualification & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA Finance / CPA / CFA (preferred).
  
• 12–20 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  
• Prior experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a growth-focused company.
