Sr. HR Executive (Unit HR)

Role Overview:

As a Senior Unit HR, you will be responsible for managing all HR functions across multiple stores. You will play a vital role in implementing HR practices related to recruitment, onboarding, compliance, engagement, and grievance handling. The individual will act as the key HR representative for the store and a strategic partner to the store manager in driving people-centric initiatives aligned with business goals.

Role & responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Manages end-to-end recruitment for frontline roles such as sales staff, cashier, and support personnel.
• Conducts initial screening interviews and supports final selection in collaboration with Cluster HR.
• Handles joining formalities, documentation, and conducts store-level induction for new employees.

Attendance & Leave Management

• Monitors employee attendance and ensures adherence to shift rosters and store coverage.
• Coordinates with the payroll and HR operations team for timely and accurate attendance reconciliation.

HR Operations & Documentation

• Maintains complete and accurate employee records including personal files, offer letters, and uniform logs.
• Prepares and shares store-level HR reports such as headcount, attrition, and attendance on a regular basis.
• Issues HR letters including confirmations, transfers, and relieving documentation.
• Solid understanding of

  retail HR operations

  and

  labor law compliance

Employee Engagement & Communication

• Drives employee engagement activities such as celebrations, motivational initiatives, and team-building events.

Preferred candidate profile

• Postgraduate degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in HR, preferably in

  retail, jewelry sectors

• Prior experience in independently managing HR operations at the store/unit level is essential.
