Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

    • Develop and execute channel strategy for new and existing business and aligned with the company's overall business goals.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage.
    • Assess the performance of channel partners, distributors, talents, influencers and come up with strategies for development of weak markets.
    • Analyze market share trends and competitive landscape
    • Ensure optimal channel performance through a combination of strategic and tactical enablers, leveraging the strengths of Influencers, IT, HR, Sales & Technical teams, Marketing, Logistics, and other key stakeholders.

Channel Development:

    • Identify and establish new distribution channels to expand the companys market reach.
    • Strengthen relationships with Distributor, Dealer, and other Channel partners.
    • Implement channel-specific sales and marketing programs to drive product demand and brand loyalty.

Talents performance management (Leadsquarred app):

    • Handling of Leadsqaurred app for tracking automated visit of Sales, Technical talents.
    • Prepare mechanism for adhering Permanent Journey Plan (PJP).
    • Vendor management for development of Leadsquarred app as per company requirements.

Scheme preparation and execution:

    • Drive new scheme and monitor performance on periodical basis.
    • Provide scheme proposal to enhance company performance.

Price Analysis:

    • Analyse consumer price and identifying discounts offered.
    • Understanding the Dealer price and RCP gap.

Sales and Marketing:

    • Collaborate with the sales team to set and achieve sales targets.
    • Provide support to marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns, offers, and initiatives to boost sales in white space markets.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance data, build up strategies.

Call Center Handling:

    • Develop and implement customer feedback and channel partner, influencer information mechanism to continuously improve service quality.

Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals focused on channel management.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
    • Provide regular training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Prepare process and SOPs across functions.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies.
    • Partner with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure efficient product distribution and availability.

Reporting and Analysis:

    • Prepare regular reports on channel performance, sales trends, and market dynamics.
    • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations.
    • Present findings and strategic plans to senior management.

Desired Candidature:

  • 8 to 10 years of similar experience in Iron / Steel / Building Materials industry
  • MBA / PGDM in marketing or equivalent
