Job Summary:
Kidzonia is seeking an experienced and dynamic Center Head to oversee the daily operations of our preschool. The Center Head will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of education, safety, and care for our students, while managing staff, building relationships with parents, and driving the center’s growth and success. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for early childhood education, and a proven track record in managing educational or childcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enrollment and Marketing: Drive enrollment growth by developing and implementing marketing strategies, conducting tours, and promoting the center’s programs to prospective families.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for children, staff, and parents.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise teachers and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Curriculum Oversight: Ensure the implementation of a high-quality, age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with Kidzonia’s educational philosophy and standards.
- Parent Communication: Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, addressing concerns, providing regular updates, and organizing parent-teacher meetings and events.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the center complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards.
- Financial Management: Manage the center’s budget, including tuition collection, payroll, and expense tracking, while identifying opportunities for cost efficiency and revenue growth.
- Quality Assurance: Regularly evaluate the center’s programs, staff performance, and child outcomes to maintain and improve quality standards.
- Community Engagement: Represent Kidzonia in the local community, building partnerships and participating in events to enhance the center’s reputation and visibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development, curriculum design, and best practices in preschool education.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, meet financial targets, and drive operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in using technology for administrative tasks and communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with play-based, Montessori, or Reggio Emilia-inspired programs.
- Familiarity with childcare management software.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
