Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to assume the role of Center Head at our prestigious culinary school. As the Center Head, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, fostering a conducive learning environment, and ensuring the overall success of our culinary programs. This leadership position requires a strong background in culinary arts, exceptional management skills, and a passion for culinary education.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement strategic plans in alignment with the culinary school's objectives.
Provide visionary leadership to faculty and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the culinary school's reputation and influence in the industry.

Academic Oversight:Supervise curriculum development and ensure its alignment with industry trends and standards.
Evaluate and enhance instructional methods to optimise student learning experiences.Monitor and assess faculty performance, providing constructive feedback and support for professional development.

Operational Management:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the culinary school, ensuring efficiency and compliance with relevant regulations.
Manage budgets, resources, and facilities to support a conducive learning environment.Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics for culinary events, workshops, and industry partnerships.

Student Engagement and Success:Implement strategies to enhance student recruitment, retention, and overall satisfaction.
Establish initiatives to support students' career development, internship placements, and job placement upon graduation.Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success and well-being.

Industry Collaboration:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, culinary experts, and potential employers.
Explore opportunities for partnerships, internships, and collaborative projects with the culinary industry.Stay informed about industry trends and developments to ensure program relevance and competitiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in culinary arts, with a proven track record of leadership in a culinary education setting.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional design, and program assessment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of faculty and staff.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, standards, and best practices in culinary education.
