Role Overview


As the Category Manager – Vendor Management & Property Services, you will be responsible for designing and leading Azuro’s national vendor and service operations. You’ll build vendor ecosystems, set up SOPs and pricing frameworks, deploy a central governance system, and ensure seamless coordination between city execution teams and the central office.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Strategy & Ecosystem Building

  • Identify, onboard, and manage vendor partners across all service categories.
  • Design a transparent pricing catalog with city-wise parity and margin control.
  • Balance local vendors vs. strategic tie-ups with aggregators (e.g., Urban Company, NoBrokerHood).
  • Establish SLAs and governance frameworks to ensure accountability and quality.

Operations & Process Excellence

  • Standardize service delivery SOPs across all cities.
  • Monitor SLAs, turnaround times, and quality scores via dashboards.
  • Build hybrid models (in-house + external vendor) to manage peak demand efficiently.
  • Conduct periodic audits and vendor score reviews.

Team & Leadership

  • Build and lead a central Vendor Management & Ops team, collaborating closely with city leads.
  • Train and mentor city-level vendor coordinators for execution excellence.
  • Drive performance management, productivity metrics, and escalation pathways.

Financials & P&L Ownership

  • Manage cost structures, vendor payouts, and category-level profitability.
  • Track cost-per-ticket reduction, margin improvement, and ROI of vendor partnerships.

Customer Experience & Quality

  • Design and maintain a feedback mechanism for property owners and tenants.
  • Drive measurable improvements in NPS, complaint resolution, and SLA adherence.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in category, vendor, or supply chain management (preferably service-led businesses).
  • Proven record of building vendor networks or operational ecosystems from scratch.
  • Strong negotiation, execution, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Experience in property management, home services, or facility management is preferred.
  • Multi-city operational exposure and comfort with KPIs/dashboards.
