Job Description

Responsibilities-

● Catalogue Content Creation & Management


○ Lead end-to-end catalogue content creation, including development of

detailed product attributes, support in pricing workstreams, owning

photoshoots and content generation, collaborating closely with internal

catalogue and marketing teams.

○ Continuously improve catalogue elements (images, descriptions, and

categorization) based on customer insights to enhance conversion rates.

○ Develop and execute strategies to highlight products effectively, ensuring

correct feature and price information is displayed on all platforms using

in-house tools.

○ Develop mechanisms to validate all catalogue tasks thoroughly before going

live, ensuring high accuracy and relevance.

○ Own and present performance across metrics of catalogue quality.


● Customer Experience & Navigation


○ Own the customer journey within the category, focusing on improving product

discoverability, ease of navigation, and decision-making simplicity.

○ Identify key decision-making parameters for customers and ensure the

catalogue meets these standards for clarity and detail.

○ Engage and coordinate with stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution and

alignment with category goals.


● Traffic Generation & Conversion Optimization


○ Drive organic traffic by precisely targeting relevant audiences, in partnership

with Marketing, ultimately boosting conversions for the category.

○ Leverage platform capabilities to design and execute plans that enhance

category visibility and engagement.

○ Improve customer interaction with the catalogue by optimising product

callouts, visuals, and promotional offers.


● Technical & Cross-functional Collaboration


○ Proactively troubleshoot and resolve catalogue issues, liaising with central

teams as needed.

○ Provide training and guidance to colleagues as required to maintain high

standards across the category team.




Requirements for the role:

● 2-3 years of experience in category/catalogue management, preferably within

e-commerce or retail is a plus

● Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail.

● Excellent understanding of product presentation, photography, and content creation.

● Ability to interpret customer insights and translate them into actionable catalogue

strategies.

● Experience with MS Excel and familiarity with analytics tools and traffic-driving

tactics.

● Strong problem-solving skills and experience with cross-functional collaboration.
