Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced CAE Engineer to join our team in Pune. The role involves developing and interpreting analysis models for various product designs using advanced CAE tools. You will work on innovative as well as modified designs based on customer requirements, federal regulations, and third-party evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use LS-Dyna, PAMCRASH, ABAQUS, and RADIOSS software to develop and verify designs for materials including steel, aluminum, plastic, and foam.
• Perform simulation studies with different load cases as per customer requirements.
• Analyze data and recommend design improvements based on simulation findings.
• Present results and reports to internal and external customers.
• Conduct independent research related to simulation in current or new product areas.
• Perform design of experiments using CAE simulations.
• Develop knowledge-based engineering tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and work within Shape core manufacturing processes, vehicle design packaging, GD&T, DFMEA, product performance, and CAD methodologies.
• Execute additional engineering tasks as directed by the manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automotive/related field). Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of CAE experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong proficiency in Altair Hypermesh and LS-Dyna.
• Working knowledge of PAMCRASH, ABAQUS, and RADIOSS is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must demonstrate teamwork, customer focus, and leadership capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹324,004.88 - ₹1,023,565.09 per year
