Responsibilities
- Support PLM Strategy roadmap implementation of HVPLM
- Global Creo deployment configuration management and implementation which includes but not limited to:
- MAP Keys
- Model Check
- Third Party Creo tools integration (CADENAS/Granta MI)
- CAD Modelling artifacts like standard drawing frames, annotations, start parts (CAD Templates), Drawing config (DTL) files and other config option.
- Client Application installation packaging definition
- Introduction of Design and business process productivity improvement tools and practices
- Local HVPLM business administration activities:
- Support and Troubleshooting for End user issues in PLM/Creo and other design tools
- Support Migration and loading activities for Legacy Data Maintenance in PLM
- Development of customization related to New Process Implantation/Existing Process improvement in HVPLM
- Alignment and implementation of different business processes in HV within HVPLM
- Windchill Test Case Management along with Functional/Performance Benchmarks tests
- And act as a project leader or experienced contributing project member in assigned projects/tasks.
- Global Support Process standardization
- Processes such as Enterprise Change Management, Lean/Agile working methodology.
- Windchill trainings - Authoring (Wiki/SOP Documents) and Deployment (PTC University/Organization LMS)
- Tools and methods in relevant competency area.
- Standardization of different local practices in PGHV
- Co-ordination with all the Business Administrators responsible for PGHV for testing, troubleshooting, implementing, and maintaining Global PLM System
- Working knowledge of International Standards (ISO plus others like EN/DIN/ANSY/JIS/GB) for Standard/Catalog Parts
- Mechanical design engineering practices and Change management principles around managing a Standard/Catalogue Parts Library.
- Mechanical design engineering practices and material management solution.
- The development of strategic direction plans in data management of various standard/catalog parts as per requirement of Technology/Engineering Design centers.
- Implementation of strategic direction and plans in Material data management.
- Primary Focus to limit the variety, manage and control the portfolio of used Standard/Catalog Parts (managing skill). Eventually evolving into a Global central team for all Standard/Catalog items design data requirements.
Shall Act
- As a subject matter expert and providing guidance to colleagues, junior team mates on areas around Windchill Concepts, Programming
- Also act as a mentor by sharing the lessons learned
- And provides consulting services to business operations and customers within relevant area of expertise.
- Represent own group / team at various forums inside and outside of Organization
- Act as local leader for troubleshooting for all HVPLM (Windchill) user for INTC
- As deputy for Global Standard, Vendor parts and Materials Liberian and gain knowledge on various Global Standard, Vendor parts and Materials management processes.
Desired Profile
- Master’s/bachelor’s in mechanical engineering PLM / CAD/ CAM domain
- Good to very good and up to date knowledge of PTC's Creo and Windchill
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD and other CAD authoring tools
- 8-10 years of practical experience either in CAD based engineering or Standard/Vendor parts and Material management business administration.
- Materials Management using enterprise solution like Granta MI (or similar)
- Preferred experience in Windchill/Standard/Catalog parts and Material management user/application, support/trainings (key-users, business admin)
- Performance oriented, team player and a self-reliant personality
- knowledge in standards management
