Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone with entrepreneurial drive, strong communication skills, and an interest in emerging vision technologies.



Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and refine the company’s

    go-to-market (GTM) strategy

    , including pricing, segmentation, and market prioritization.
  • Identify and pursue high-value opportunities in target sectors (e.g., gaming, healthcare and diagnostics, research applications).
  • Build and manage a pipeline of leads, opportunities, and strategic accounts.

2. Business Development & Partnerships

  • Establish partnerships with research labs, hardware vendors, system integrators, and enterprise customers.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and strategic collaborations.

3. Customer Discovery & Product Alignment

  • Conduct customer discovery to deeply understand user needs and pain points.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape product features and roadmap.
  • Provide structured feedback from clients to inform product iterations.

4. Marketing & Positioning

  • Work with founders to develop messaging, value propositions, and competitive differentiation.
  • Oversee creation of sales collateral, case studies, and presentations.
  • Support digital marketing efforts, thought leadership, and content strategy.

5. Operations & Early-Stage Leadership

  • Contribute to fundraising activities (pitch decks, investor outreach, due diligence).
  • Help define internal processes for sales, CRM, product release communication, and customer onboarding.
  • Support hiring and scaling of the business team.



Qualifications

Required

  • 4–8+ years of experience in business development, product strategy, partnerships, or commercial roles—preferably in deep tech, AI, analytics, or hardware/software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of B2B business models and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
  • Ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred

  • Experience with

    eye-tracking, computer vision, biometrics, or behavioral analytics

    .
  • Background in a related domain: UX research, human–computer interaction, automotive safety, neuroscience, retail analytics, or training systems.
  • Exposure to early-stage startups or experience working directly with founders.
  • Familiarity with hardware/software integrations and data analytics products.
