Role Overview We’re hiring a Head of E-Commerce to architect and lead the next chapter of our digital commerce journey. This is a foundational leadership role with high autonomy, strategic importance, and direct reporting to the founder. You will have full ownership of our e-commerce business, including digital strategy, revenue growth, brand development, and team building. The ideal candidate is a seasoned operator with a proven record of building or scaling D2C brands or leading category roles on platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, or Nykaa. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership : Define and implement an ambitious growth roadmap across D2C websites, marketplaces, and future international channels. Website & Conversion Optimization : Overhaul Awnopy.com and Shophippo.in to deliver world-class UX/UI and industry-leading conversion rates. Digital Marketing & Brand Building : Build and manage performance marketing, SEO, influencer campaigns, CRM, and digital engagement strategies. Product Development & Expansion : Identify emerging trends, lead new product launches, and optimize category performance through market intelligence. Creative & Content Excellence : Establish an in-house creative team to produce compelling product visuals, videos, and platform-optimized listings. Global Expansion : Develop a phased go-to-market plan for launching on international platforms such as Amazon Global and cross-border D2C channels. Talent & Team Building : Structure and hire high-performance teams across operations, marketing, content, tech, and analytics. P&L Accountability : Own the full P&L of the e-commerce business with clear KPIs around revenue growth, profitability, and customer LTV. Ideal Candidate Profile Experience : 10+ years in e-commerce, digital strategy, or consumer brand leadership within India’s startup or marketplace ecosystem. Track Record : Demonstrated success in building or scaling D2C brands or categories on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, or similar platforms. Strategic Thinking : Deep understanding of customer acquisition, retention, conversion optimization, and funnel metrics. Leadership : Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage performance, and inspire ownership. Analytical Mindset : Strong data orientation, business acumen, and decision-making based on insights and metrics. Entrepreneurial Spirit : Self-starter with a builder’s mindset, resilience, and hunger to create lasting impact. Communication : Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Mobility : Must be willing to relocate and work full-time from Jaipur.
