Job Description

We are urgently looking for Business Development Associate (Client Connect) location based at Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain long-term, value-based relationships with clients i.e. Founders & Promoters.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients across investment banking services.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs, business models, and strategic objectives.

Business Development:

  •  Proactively identify and pursue new clients and investment opportunities through industry research and networking.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and client outreach.

Client Intelligence & Strategy:

  •  Monitor industry trends, deal activity, and client developments to proactively identify opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client intelligence and relationship maps using CRM systems.
  • Prepare internal briefings and client strategy documents for senior leadership.

CRM & Reporting:

  • Maintain and update client interaction logs and pipeline trackers in CRM tools.
  • Generate periodic reports on client engagement, pipeline status, and business development metrics.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Networking & Communication:

    Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and industry stakeholders. 
  • Sales & Negotiation:

    Proven ability to market and sell financial products and services, and to negotiate complex deal terms.

     
  • Strong understanding of investment banking and capital markets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
  • 2–7 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, consulting, or a client-facing business development role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a client-first mind-set.


Travel: 20% travel included

  • Working hour: 10am – 7pm
  • Days: 5.5 Days (Alternate Sat and All Sun are off)
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional Communication & Convincing skills
  • Qualification: Bachelors or Masters from Marketing, Sales or related field
