Position Summary:

Business Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through inbound leads.
• Understand client needs and align our services/solutions with their eCommerce goals.
• Develop customized proposals and pitches for prospective clients, with a strong emphasis on Shopify solutions.
• Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate records in our CRM.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Design, Tech, Strategy) to ensure alignment in sales messaging and client onboarding.
• Stay updated on Shopify trends, apps, partners, and competitive landscape.
• Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and other networking opportunities (virtually or in-person).

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or client acquisition in the eCommerce or Shopify space.
• Strong understanding of the Shopify platform, ecosystem, and related tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Recharge, Yotpo).
• Should have good experinece in international sales (US and Canada).
• Demonstrated ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, client-facing role.
• Familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
