Position Summary

B2B Business Development Manager


Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and execute business development strategies aimed at achieving company goals and financial targets.
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Research and identify potential clients and markets, focusing on the US insurance sector.
  • Lead Generation: Conduct cold calls or drive email campaigns to generate new leads and set up meetings with prospective clients.
  • Communication/Presentation: Present our solutions to prospects to convert then into new potential clients.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster long-term relationships with prospects, clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for all parties involved.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to develop and implement client-focused solutions.
  •  Monitor Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to refine business development strategies.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and market insights.


Skills and Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in business development or sales, with a strong focus on outbound and international sales.
  3. Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a B2B environment.

  4. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  5. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to facilitate successful contract discussions.
  6. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools and business development software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  7. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop effective growth strategies.
  8. Self-motivated: A driven and goal-oriented individual capable of working independently and as part of a team.
