Role Overview

Business Development Manager (BDM)


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Outreach

    :
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within Tier-1 OEMs and leading automotive brands.
  • Drive business through cold calling, targeted email campaigns, industry networking, and digital marketing tools.
  • Client Relationship & Solution Positioning

    :
  • Leverage a strong automotive network to develop trusted relationships with clients across India and international markets.
  • Understand client pain points and pitch

    aligned to engineering and digital transformation needs.
  • Sales & Revenue Targets

    :
  • Own and deliver against defined

    annual revenue and order booking targets

    (e.g., USD $2M–$3M+ depending on market focus).
  • Build a qualified pipeline that supports quarter-on-quarter growth and predictable bookings.
  • Work alongside Presales, Bid Management and Delivery to submit qualified proposals

  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Qualifications & Experience

    • 7–12 years of business development or sales experience in the

      automotive industry

      with a focus on OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
    • Proven track record of

      order booking and revenue achievement

      in engineering services or IT solutions.
    • Strong network with automotive decision-makers in India and global markets.
    • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value propositions.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business; MBA preferred.
