Job Overview: As a Business Development Executive at Nerdy Academy, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our client base. You will be responsible for generating leads, making sales calls, conducting meetings, and working with the team to achieve sales targets. This position involves both office work and field work, with approximately 30% of your time spent in the field. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach. Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects and leads. Sales Calls & Client Engagement: Conduct sales calls to prospective clients to present Nerdy Academy’s offerings and solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular follow-ups and communication. Meetings & Presentations: Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions. Deliver compelling presentations to demonstrate the value of our products and services. Sales Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Field Work: Spend approximately 30% of your time on field work, meeting clients, and attending industry events. Gather market insights and client feedback to inform product development and sales strategies. Reporting & Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system. Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends to management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in using computers and CRM software. Willingness to travel for field work as needed.
