Manager - Business Development

Role Overview: Leadership & Strategy

3 Business Development Officers (BDOs)

Key Responsibilities

Market Dimensioning & Acquisition:
Identify and map the dealer/stockist universe across the assigned geographies. Align and execute an aggressive acquisition strategy.
Team Leadership:
Train, engage, and manage the BDO team. Create effective beat plans and monitor field execution to maximize team efficiency.
Channel Activation:
Ensure that empaneled partners are successfully activated on the platform and maintain long-term engagement (Channel Health).
Strategic Pitching:
Adapt and evolve the business proposition to ensure high adoption rates among traditional pharma dealers.
Data-Driven Management:
Collate market trends and financial data to interpret performance and report to the Top Management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience:
Proven track record in Pharma Business Development or Distribution Management.
Leadership:
Strong project management and people management skills with experience leading field teams.
Strategic Thinking:
Ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and interpret financial information.
Soft Skills:
Excellent negotiation, interpersonal networking, and communication abilities.
Academic:
MBA or equivalent post-graduation in Marketing/Business preferred.
