About the Role

Business Development Manager (BDM)

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve ambitious business development and revenue targets across modular kitchens, wardrobes, and complete interior solutions.
  • New Business Development (B2B & B2C):

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through targeted

    cold calling

    , networking, market research, and strategic relationship building.
  • Expertly manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to final deal closure in both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) segments.
  • Relationship Management:

  • Regularly meet with Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, and Developers

    to present our product portfolio, specifications, and value proposition, ensuring we are the preferred partner for their projects.
  • Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing and potential clients/partners.
  • Field Sales:

    Conduct extensive

    field sales activities

    , including client meetings, site visits, product presentations, and negotiations.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the Design, Project Management, and Installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Analysis:

    Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts in the CRM system and provide regular reports to the management team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience:

    2 to 9 years of proven experience in Sales/Business Development, specifically within the

    Modular Kitchen, Wardrobes, Interior Design, or related Building Materials/Furniture industry.

  • Expertise:

    Demonstrable expertise and a successful track record in both

    B2B (Business-to-Business)

    and

    B2C (Business-to-Consumer)

    sales.
  • Industry Network:

    An established network or a strong ability to quickly develop relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, and Builders is a significant advantage.
  • Communication:

    Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with a confident and persuasive demeanor.
  • Self-Motivation:

    Highly motivated, target-driven individual with a hunter mentality and ability to work independently.
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Mobility:

    Must be willing to travel extensively within the designated territory for field sales activities.
