Business Development Manager


Responsibilities:

  • Actively travel across the assigned region to meet prospective clients, understand their requirements, and close deals for sustainability and RE power services.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities within the sustainability and renewable energy sectors.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor analysis, and client needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their sustainability and energy objectives, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless project implementation and client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and emerging sustainability and clean energy practices.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and expand professional networks.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, sales activities, and business development progress.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and campaigns that promote our sustainability and RE services.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s/bachelor's degree in business administration, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the sustainability services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and industry trends.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication (English, Hindi & Marathi) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • High-level proficiency with MS Office programs
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to clients.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other business development tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
