About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager (5+ years) to lead growth initiatives and expand our client base in key markets. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional with a proven track record in B2B sales, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships, particularly in IT, Software, or Consulting domains.

You will play a critical role in developing market strategies, nurturing high-value client relationships, and identifying opportunities that drive revenue growth. This role requires strong business acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to influence decision-makers while working cross-functionally to deliver business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities while maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Revenue Management: Drive consistent revenue growth through structured sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new growth areas.
  • Partnership Development: Build and manage partnerships with strategic stakeholders, vendors, and industry alliances.
  • Proposal & Negotiation: Prepare business proposals, RFPs, and presentations; lead contract negotiations to successful closure.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Delivery, and Operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular business reports and performance analytics to management.
  • Mentorship: Guide and support junior business development team members to enhance performance and ensure goal alignment.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build visibility and credibility.

What We’re Looking For

Education:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Business Development, Client Acquisition, or B2B Sales.
  • Experience in IT, Software, SaaS, or Consulting industry preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, negotiation, and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data and create actionable strategies.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
