Business Development (IT Sales)



Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and market research.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand client requirements and present tailored IT solutions (software, web, app, cloud, or digital services).
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to align sales strategies with business goals.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience (2–10years) in IT Sales, Software Sales, or Technology Solutions Sales.
  • Strong understanding of IT products/services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
