Job Description

The Project BD Manager is the champion to uncover business opportunities, identify potential clients , pitch Purple Turtles , Beruru and Oorjaa offerings , followup and win projects and clients , execute key initiatives and manage relationships to allow accelerated growth.

This role requires a strong balance of business development/sales experience, technical aptitude and account management skills that deliver proven results. The Business Development Manager leverages analytics to determine, measure and communicate business effectiveness and adapt when needed for desirable results. This person is effective at working independently and strategically to plan and execute, as well as collaboratively with the supporting teams and tactically to reach the established goals.

The successful candidate has to have existing Architect network and be aggressive in sales and indentifying potential client with a strong organizational planning skills, able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, and is able to manage multiple accounts and projects without losing focus. He/she has excellent written and verbal communication skills and possesses strong interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Role :

  • Identify and build relationships with architects , interior designers ( ID ) and lighting contractors ( LC )
  • Pitch and win projects
  • Regular updates to architects / ID / LC about the latest products

Requirement:

  • To have a Sales and BD background
  • Aggressive and proactive individual
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Established relationships with Architects / ID / LC is a must
  • Ability to understand briefs clearly
  • Creative bent of mind and has to have a problem solving approach
  • Ability to multitask and manage various internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Focused and ability to multitask
  • Willing to travel to different cities and meet Architects/ID /LC
  • Ability to make cold calls
  • Knowledge of any design software is an added advantage

Required Qualifications:

Education

  • Graduate in BA / Bcom . An MBA in Sales & Marketing in related field or equivalent will be an added advantage .
