Position Overview : We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding our customer base, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the gardening and landscaping industry. The BDM will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, increasing revenue, and representing Terrace Garden India in the market. Key Responsibilities : Business Strategy & Growth : Develop and implement strategies to expand the business and increase sales within the urban gardening sector. Market Research : Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and industry trends. Stay updated on market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitor offerings. Client Acquisition : Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on expanding our client base in the residential, commercial, and corporate sectors. Relationship Management : Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business. Sales Management : Lead the sales team to achieve targets. Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and presentations to potential clients. Negotiation & Closing Deals : Negotiate contracts, agreements, and pricing with clients to secure profitable deals. Partnerships & Collaborations : Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers, distributors, and other relevant industry players to support business growth. Reporting & Analysis : Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales targets, and revenue forecasts. Brand Promotion : Represent the company at trade shows, events, and client meetings to promote the brand and services. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus). Proven experience (3-5 years) in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the landscaping, gardening, or home improvement industries. Strong understanding of the market dynamics in the urban gardening and landscaping sectors. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Results-driven with a passion for achieving sales goals and business growth.
