Job Title: Business Development Manager (SaaS)

Position Overview:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, conducting product demonstrations, and converting leads into paid subscriptions. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in SaaS sales, strong communication, and a willingness to travel for client engagements when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new business leads through online research, outbound communication, and marketing channels.
  • Conduct online product demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing value propositions and relevant use-cases.
  • Convert qualified leads into paid clients through consultative and solution-based selling.
  • Maintain and manage a healthy lead pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Support onboarding and implementation phases for new clients.
  • Travel to client locations for demos, training, or support when needed.
  • Nurture long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and potential upselling opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and provide feedback to the product team.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in SaaS business development or software sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and conversion goals.
  • Experience working with B2B clients is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent presentation and demo delivery skills.
  • Understanding of SaaS subscription models and sales cycles.
  • Negotiation and objection-handling skills.
  • CRM/ERP usage proficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build rapport with business decision-makers.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel when required for demos, training, and client support.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Support, Marketing).
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and comfortable working under targets.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or relevant discipline preferred (experience-based exceptions allowed).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
