Job Description

As a Business Development Manager at Bramhakarjya Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in leading revenue generation and market expansion efforts for our comprehensive digital platform dedicated to serving the Hindu community in Odisha. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Strategic Planning:** Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to generate revenue and achieve market penetration in Odisha. - **Customer Segmentation:** Identify and analyze target customer segments for our diverse services, such as families for domestic rituals and event planners for social events. - **Team Leadership:** Recruit, train, and manage a team of field Sales Officers, set clear sales targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching for success. - **Revenue Generation:** Create and manage the sales funnel, focusing on both B2C and B2B opportunities, including corporate pujas, event partnerships, Puja bhandar integration, and distributor base creation for selling puja items. - **Market Analysis:** Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for service expansion. - **Reporting:** Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and team activities to senior management. **Qualifications and Skills:** - **Experience:** 3-5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning, preferably in a service-oriented industry, e-commerce, or a fast-paced startup. - **Education:** MBA in Marketing/Business or a related field is highly preferred. - **Leadership:** Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a sales team. - **Local Knowledge:** Strong understanding of the cultural and demographic landscape of Odisha. - **Skills:** Excellent strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales-tracking software.
