Key Responsibilities Market Research & Opportunity Identification: Researching market trends, analyzing competitors, and identifying new customer segments or untapped markets for the company's products and services.  Lead Generation & Prospecting: Finding potential clients and key decision-makers through cold outreach, networking at events, and leveraging professional platforms like LinkedIn.  Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals.  Proposal Development & Negotiation: Creating tailored business proposals and solutions to meet client needs, and negotiating contract terms.  Strategic Planning: Developing and executing strategic business development plans to expand revenue streams and market reach.  Internal Collaboration: Working with marketing, product development, and sales teams to align offerings, optimize services, and support sales efforts.  Reporting: Monitoring progress, analyzing sales figures, and preparing reports to management on sales results and goals.  Client Management: Ensuring customer satisfaction and managing post-sale relationships to foster long-term loyalty and repeat business.  Required Skills and Qualities Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify and develop new business ventures and long-term growth strategies.  Sales & Negotiation: Proficiency in pitching company offerings, negotiating deals, and closing profitable opportunities.  Communication & Networking: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.  Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, sales figures, and competitor activities to inform strategy.  Initiative: Confidence to start new initiatives from scratch and adapt to a fast-paced, changing business environment.  Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, communication platforms, and other relevant tools.
