Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month + performance-based incentives

Flavours of Calicut is a Kerala-based brand bringing the authentic taste of Kerala snacks like banana chips, halwas, pickles, and more to customers across India. As we expand, we are building a strong Business Development division to unlock new opportunities, partnerships, and institutional sales.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead our growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with strong networking skills, capable of creating opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and driving sales across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in FMCG, institutional channels, gifting, and corporate purchases.

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Create and manage a new client database for bulk/custom orders.

Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.

Track and manage events, exhibitions, and business forums relevant to our brand.

Negotiate and close deals with corporate and institutional clients.

Work closely with management to establish a new growth focused division.

Provide regular reports on leads, opportunities, and deal closures.

Collaborate with marketing to develop customised solutions for clients.

Requirements

Must be proficient in Malayalam, English, and Hindi.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Willingness to travel within and outside Kerala frequently.

FMCG industry experience is an added advantage.

Smart, self-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Immediate joiner preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Commerce or related field (MBA is a plus).
