Production Head

Job Title: Production Head – Kuttipuram Manufacturing Unit

Location: Kuttipuram, Kerala

Reports to: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Oversight
• Manage daily production operations and maintain accurate production logs.
• Ensure production targets are achieved on time without labour shortages.
• Procurement & Coordination
• Handle procurement of raw materials and packaging.
• Work with the finance team to ensure smooth documentation and timely payments.
• Negotiate with vendors and maintain good supplier relationships.
• Quality & Compliance
• Supervise QA team to ensure products meet company standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality norms.
• Collaboration & Problem Solving
• Coordinate with Operations Manager on packaging and dispatch.
• Work closely with management to address delays or operational challenges.
• Reporting & Tools
• Maintain production reports and MIS using Excel and other basic platforms.
• Ensure clear and timely communication across teams.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good communication, negotiation, and vendor management ability.
• Proficiency in English, Malayalam, and Hindi.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and basic digital platforms.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Engineering, Operations, or Business Management.
• 2–3 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or operations.
• Prior exposure to the food/FMCG industry is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kuttippuram, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

• FMCG: 1 year (Required)
