Job Description

As a Business Development Manager (B2B), your role will involve: - University alliance and partnership in Maharashtra region - Driving revenue through partnership with university and encompasses on revenue generation - Maintaining cordial relationship with universities and generating repetitive business for expansion You will be responsible for Product Adoption and Usage. This includes owning the responsibility for the adoption and usage of the product. You will act as a subject matter expert to train customers (higher education institutes) and partners. Your tasks will involve developing strategic and tactical initiatives to maintain and improve customer onboarding, retention, and footprint growth. You will need to benchmark progress on a quarterly basis, gather program measurements, track and analyze the data to ensure the achievement of the business goals agreed upon. Regular interaction with customers will be necessary to update them on the progress, understand challenges, and resolve them within specified time frames. Customer Empowerment is another key aspect of your role. You will serve as the Voice of the Customer and a strong advocate for your customers" interests within the organization. Gathering customer product feedback and communicating with product management and engineering to shape the product development roadmap will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to identify use cases not yet covered by our current platform and patterns on issues faced by customers. Account Growth is crucial, and you will be responsible for creating upsell and cross-sell opportunities in your accounts by deepening customer relations, driving product usage, and making a growth plan together with the customer to expand business in their institutes. Collaboration with the regional Business Development Managers will be essential to convert opportunities into sales. Qualifications required for this position include: - Fluent in English and local language - Perseverance, sincerity, out-of-the-box thinking, and patience to manage large institutional customers and lengthy sales cycles - Ability to work in remotely distributed teams with experience in B2B account management, customer success, cross-team coordination, and escalation management - Self-motivated, independent, proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ideas to build and nurture customer relationships - Strong communication and public speaking skills with the ability to influence people and stakeholders of CXO level - Must have own vehicle and be willing to travel extensively within the allocated region,
