Business Development Manager

Specification Inclusion & Influence

·      BOQ Specification: Drive inclusion of FRG products in project specifications, tender documents, and BOQs by engaging with architects, fire consultants, PMCs.

·      Approvals & Standards: Ensure products are aligned with national and international fire safety codes (e.g., NBC, EN, IS standards).

·      Technical Presentations: Deliver targeted technical presentations and continuing professional development to specifiers to position the brand as a thought leader.

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management            

·      Key Influencer Mapping: Identify and build relationships with top 50+ key specifiers across India (architects, fire consultants, PMCs, builders).

·      Consultant Development: Proactively engage with consultants to secure project-specific product approvals and endorsements.

·      Fire Authorities Liaison: Support sales/project teams in obtaining approvals from fire departments (CFO, FSAI, etc.).

Knowledge Development & Dissemination

·      Technical Content Creation: Support creation and review of technical brochures, datasheets, and compliance documents.

·      Training Programs: Conduct internal and external training sessions on FRG product applications, test standards, and certifications.

·      Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on changes in building codes, fire norms, and construction guidelines relevant to FRG.

Project Tracking & Conversion Support

·      Lead Qualification: Track specified projects, market intelligence services (e.g., Projects Today, Tenders info).

·      Handover to Sales: Work closely with business development teams by handing over specified projects for commercial closure.

·      Specification-to-Order Rate: Track and improve the ratio of specified projects that convert to actual orders.

Cross-functional Collaboration            

·      Sales Team Enablement: Help sales teams by addressing technical queries and providing spec support in client meetings.

·      Product Development Feedback: Provide insights to the product team on evolving specifier needs and potential product gaps.

·      Compliance & Documentation: Ensure timely support in preparing fire test certificates, acoustic reports, and mock-up documentation.
