Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the B2B sales cycle. They should be confident in building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Growth:

    Proactively engage in selling SolidWorks software to both new and existing customers. Execute sales initiatives, including cold calling, lead generation, and pipeline management, to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Client Engagement:

    Collaborate closely with engineers and decision-makers to present SolidWorks solutions tailored to their specific needs. Conduct in-depth discussions with technical teams and management to identify areas for process optimization.
  • Lead Generation & Market Expansion:

    Identify new business opportunities through field visits, networking, and industry events. Expand the client portfolio by upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
  • Sales Strategy Execution:

    Develop and implement effective sales strategies within the assigned territory. Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting to ensure goal alignment and business growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

    Establish and nurture long-term relationships with prospects and current clients. Work collaboratively with internal teams, including technical support, inside sales, and marketing, to enhance customer success and maximize sales potential.
  • Reporting & Documentation:

    Maintain high ethical business standards by ensuring timely reporting and detailed documentation. Provide comprehensive monthly forecasts and sales reports to management.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:

    Work closely with technical support teams to conduct product demonstrations, address customer inquiries, and facilitate deal closures. Ensure a seamless flow of communication between sales, marketing, and technical teams.
  • Target Achievement:

    Consistently meet or exceed assigned revenue and unit sales targets. Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to drive business success.
