Business Development Engineer

As a Business Development Engineer at E G S COMPUTERS INDIA PVT LTD, you will play a crucial role in selling SolidWorks mechanical design software to both new and existing clients. Your responsibilities will include actively engaging in sales and business development activities, building and managing client relationships, and ensuring successful implementation of our software solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Actively sell SolidWorks mechanical design software to new and existing customers through cold calling, prospecting, and qualifying leads. - Demonstrate SolidWorks solutions to engineers and management-level stakeholders to address client needs. - Generate new business opportunities through field visits, networking, and leveraging industry contacts. - Develop and execute sales strategies, manage territory sales, and provide accurate forecasting and reporting. - Build and maintain strong relationships with new prospects and existing clients, seeking additional business opportunities within customer accounts. - Maintain high business ethics with timely reporting and documentation, and collaborate effectively with technical support teams. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (any stream) or related field. - Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in mechanical design software or a technical sales environment. Skills: - Strong understanding of mechanical design software, particularly SolidWorks. - Proven ability to engage with technical and management-level customers. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong organizational and time management skills.
