Business Development Engineer

Role Overview: As a Business Development Engineer at E G S COMPUTERS INDIA PVT LTD, you will play a key role in driving sales of SolidWorks mechanical design software. Your responsibilities will include actively selling the software, engaging with clients to understand their needs, generating new business opportunities, implementing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and ensuring goal achievement. Key Responsibilities: - Actively sell SolidWorks mechanical design software to new and existing customers. - Drive sales activities, including cold calling, prospecting, and qualifying leads to meet or exceed sales targets. - Work closely with engineers to demonstrate SolidWorks solutions that meet client needs. - Generate new business opportunities through field visits, networking, and leveraging industry contacts. - Develop and execute sales strategies and objectives to drive client success. - Build and maintain strong relationships with new prospects and existing clients. - Maintain high business ethics with timely reporting and proper documentation. - Coordinate with technical support teams to conduct technical demonstrations and facilitate successful order closing. - Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue and unit sales goals. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (any stream) or related field. - Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in mechanical design software or a technical sales environment. - Skills: - Strong understanding of mechanical design software, particularly SolidWorks. - Proven ability to engage with technical and management-level customers. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Attributes: - Results-oriented with a proactive approach to business development. - Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. - High ethical standards and attention to detail.
