Role Description


The Business Development Associate (BDA) is responsible for driving company growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and promoting products or services to potential clients. This role includes end-to-end sales activities, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring customer satisfaction and consistent revenue growth.




Key Responsibilities


1. Lead Generation & Prospecting


• Identify potential clients through market research, networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.


• Build a pipeline of qualified leads through consistent follow-ups.


2. Client Acquisition


• Understand customer needs and business challenges.


• Present and pitch products/services through presentations, meetings, or virtual demos.


• Convert leads into customers by negotiating and closing deals effectively.


3. Relationship Management


• Maintain long-term client relationships.


• Follow up regularly to ensure satisfaction and identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities.


• Act as a point of contact for customer queries and assist in onboarding.


4. Sales Strategy & Planning


• Work with the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.


• Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and client outreach strategies.


• Maintain accurate sales activity records in CRM tools.


5. Reporting & Documentation


• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.


• Maintain organized documentation of proposals, quotations, and agreements.




Required Skills & Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.


• 0–1 years of experience in sales or business development.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.


• Knowledge of CRM tools is an added advantage.
