Job Description

As a Business Development Executive focused on B2B operations, you will play a key role in driving growth for our EdTech company by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and executing sales strategies targeted toward academic institutions and corporate clients. Key Responsibilities: Identify and explore potential market opportunities through meetings, networking events, referrals, and outreach activities. Develop a deep understanding of institutional customer needs, market dynamics, competitor activities, and sales performance metrics. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to devise and implement regional sales strategies aimed at increasing market share and expanding into new territories. Forecast sales targets and create development plans to drive consistent business growth and improve profitability. Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, primarily academic institutions and training partners. Work closely with colleges and universities to strategize and execute effective marketing and sales campaigns. Organize and manage technical workshops, seminars, and promotional events in academic institutions to increase brand awareness. Create compelling corporate presentations to promote GRRAS Solutions’ training offerings and services to institutional clients. Ensure alignment between student needs and course offerings through detailed consultation and personalized guidance. Present program details effectively using in-person, telephonic, and digital communication methods to maximize enrolment. Handle objections, negotiate pricing, and close deals in line with defined sales targets. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, academic, operations) to ensure seamless lead nurturing and conversion. Maintain and upgrade knowledge of the company's programs and trends in the EdTech space. Candidate Requirements: A graduate degree is mandatory; MBA in Sales/Marketing or an IT background is an added advantage. Minimum 1 year of experience in the EdTech industry, with a focus on B2B/B2C sales , especially in a college-centric environment. Proven ability in team handling , client acquisition, and relationship management. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Well-versed with ICT tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint for presentations and reports. Comfortable with public speaking, handling objections, and dealing with diverse stakeholders including students, parents, and institutional decision-makers. Self-motivated, flexible, and adept at managing changing priorities.
