Job Description

Position: Senior Data Analyst

Purpose of the Position: As a Data Analyst, this role requires a candidate who is enthusiastic about data and driven to help solve the organisation’s analytics challenges. As a member of the team, you will support our clients on their data and analytics journey by analyzing data, identifying trends, and generating insights to drive informed decision-making. You will also work on improving data consistency and ensuring that the necessary infrastructure and pipelines are in place to support analytics platforms.

Location: India (Nagpur and Pune preferred)

Key Result Areas and Activities:

Data Analysis and Interpretation: Aggregate, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights that address key business challenges

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization through data analysis, recommending improvements based on findings

Reporting and Visualization: Translate business needs into functional specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive execution of analytics initiatives that support digital, e-commerce, marketing, and technology functions.

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between client stakeholders and project teams, ensuring business priorities are translated into actionable analytics requirements and deliverables

Work and Technical Experience:

Essential Skills:

5–9 years of experience as a Business and Data Analyst with a focus on digital, e-commerce, and marketing functions.

Strong familiarity with digital platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools.

Proven ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements and user stories.

Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.

Experience working in a global delivery model with effective onsite-offshore collaboration.

Understanding of digital commerce KPIs , such as cart abandonment, average order value (AOV), and customer lifetime value (CLV).

Hands-on knowledge with platforms like Databricks

Good Experience in SQL to provide support on data-related insights queries for end users

Desirable Skills:

Exposure to BI visualization tools (Incorta,Tableau, Strategy).

Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery.

Background in retail/footwear/apparel industry is a strong plus.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)

Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods

Qualities:

Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes for a fast-growing team and firm

Able to communicate persuasively through speaking, writing, and client presentations

Able to consult, write, and present persuasively

Able to work in a self-organized and cross-functional team
