About the Role

Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Engage stakeholders through workshops, interviews, and meetings to capture business needs.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • Document user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria for implementation teams.

2. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse business data, trends, KPIs, and operational metrics to identify gaps or opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and provide insights based on data findings.

3. Business Process Optimisation

  • Map and evaluate existing business processes to identify inefficiencies.
  • Recommend process improvements, automation ideas, and optimisation initiatives.
  • Support change management and ensure smooth rollout of new processes or systems.

4. Project Support & Delivery

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Product Managers, and Engineering teams.
  • Assist in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Track project progress, document updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

5. Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business users.
  • Ensure clear communication, expectation alignment, and timely updates.
  • Prepare presentations, requirement documents, and project reports for management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SQL or BI tools is a plus.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, structured insights.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments is an advantage.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of data analysis, process mapping (BPMN), or system integration.
  • Knowledge of product development or digital transformation projects.
