Business Analyst

Fix Network is looking for a Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst who brings both analytical depth and hands-on delivery experience to our platform and POS modernization initiatives.
In this role, you’ll bridge business requirements and technical execution — documenting processes, defining future-state needs, coordinating agile sprints, and driving collaboration across global teams.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and has prior experience helping to build software or platforms from the ground up, working closely with developers, QA, and business stakeholders to bring ideas into production.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Documentation

• Review documents and inputs from business teams and convert them into clear and structured BA deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and use cases.
• Define and manage non-functional requirements.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, data flows, and key dependencies.
• Identify and recommend areas of improvement or optimization across workflows and systems.

Technical Collaboration

• Participate in requirement and technical discussions with developers, architects, and QA.
• Demonstrate working understanding of APIs, request/response structures (e.g., JSON), and how systems exchange data.
• Collaborate with teams to map requirements to system behavior and ensure alignment between business logic and technical design.

Agile Delivery & Execution

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies — including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders to refine backlog items and ensure stories are ready for development.
• Support UAT, BUAT, and post-production verification by coordinating with business partners.
• Monitor sprint progress, identify blockers, and maintain clear communication of timelines and dependencies.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Act as the liaison between business, development, QA, and leadership teams, ensuring alignment and clarity.
• Communicate project updates, priorities, and changes effectively.
• Facilitate workshops, demos, and documentation walkthroughs with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain a high level of organization, expectation management, and accountability across deliverables.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure all documentation and requirements meet internal quality standards.
• Contribute to shared templates, repositories, and documentation best practices.
• Promote process consistency and improvement across the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical BA in software or SaaS environments.
• Must have availability with overlapping working hours between EST and IST time zones to ensure real-time collaboration with North American
• Strong understanding of Agile and SDLC methodologies.
• Experience in writing and managing user stories, BRDs/FRDs, and traceability matrices.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, and JSON-based request/response formats.
• Prior exposure to UAT and post-deployment validation.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• GitLab / GitHub / Azure DevOps (development lifecycle tracking)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
