Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Documentation Review documents and inputs from business teams and convert them into clear and structured BA deliverables. Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and use cases. Define and manage non-functional requirements. Document current-state and future-state processes, data flows, and key dependencies. Identify and recommend areas of improvement or optimization across workflows and systems. Technical Collaboration Participate in requirement and technical discussions with developers, architects, and QA. Demonstrate working understanding of APIs, request/response structures (e.g., JSON), and how systems exchange data. Collaborate with teams to map requirements to system behavior and ensure alignment between business logic and technical design. Agile Delivery & Execution Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies — including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate with Stakeholders to refine backlog items and ensure stories are ready for development. Support UAT, BUAT, and post-production verification by coordinating with business partners. Monitor sprint progress, identify blockers, and maintain clear communication of timelines and dependencies. Stakeholder Management & Communication Act as the liaison between business, development, QA, and leadership teams, ensuring alignment and clarity. Communicate project updates, priorities, and changes effectively. Facilitate workshops, demos, and documentation walkthroughs with cross-functional teams. Maintain a high level of organization, expectation management, and accountability across deliverables. Quality & Continuous Improvement Ensure all documentation and requirements meet internal quality standards. Contribute to shared templates, repositories, and documentation best practices. Promote process consistency and improvement across the delivery lifecycle. Requirements 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical BA in software or SaaS environments. Must have availability with overlapping working hours between EST and IST time zones to ensure real-time collaboration with North American Strong understanding of Agile and SDLC methodologies. Experience in writing and managing user stories, BRDs/FRDs, and traceability matrices. Understanding of APIs, integrations, and JSON-based request/response formats. Prior exposure to UAT and post-deployment validation. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. You’ll take ownership of building and optimizing critical backend and frontend components using NestJS, TypeScript, and React, while ensuring the team follows strong engineering, testing, and delivery practices. This is a hands-on leadership role. Ideal for someone who enjoys coding, problem-solving, and guiding others to write clean, secure, and scalable software that supports a multi-region, multi-tenant platform. Key Responsibilities Core Development & Technical Ownership Act as a hands-on individual contributor responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining core modules within our next-generation Global POS and Operations Platform, serving multiple countries, brands, and regions. Take a lead role in building this platform from the ground up, establishing strong architectural foundations for scalability, localization, and extensibility. Design and implement APIs — including both RESTful and GraphQL endpoints — with a focus on modularity, data consistency, and developer-friendly schemas. Apply strong knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms to build systems that are both efficient and maintainable at scale. Build and optimize high-performance backend services using NestJS / Node.js / TypeScript, ensuring smooth integration with frontend and external systems. Implement caching, queuing, and async workflows using Redis and event-driven design to support large transaction volumes and global traffic. Contribute to frontend components in React + TypeScript, maintaining clean architecture, scalability, and full internationalization (i18n) support. Take end-to-end accountability for code quality, maintainability, and production readiness. Mentorship & Team Enablement Support and guide junior developers through code reviews, best practice discussions, and pair programming. Help establish and maintain coding, testing, and documentation standards across the team. Encourage continuous learning, collaboration, and improvement in team velocity and quality. Testing & Quality Assurance Implement and enforce testing standards — unit, integration, and end-to-end. Integrate testing into build pipelines and ensure every feature meets defined acceptance and performance criteria. Participate in post-deployment verification, debugging, and continuous improvement. Performance, Security & Reliability Ensure all features meet modern standards for security, authentication, and data protection (JWTs, validation, rate limiting). Optimize application performance through profiling, caching, and load management. Contribute to observability by maintaining structured logging and performance metrics. DevOps & Collaboration Work with Infra team to develop CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using GitLab, GitHub, or Azure DevOps. Support configuration and deployment readiness in multiple Docker-based environments. Participate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, and technical documentation efforts. Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Business Partners and leadership to align on scope and delivery expectations. Qualifications 6+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development. Must have availability with overlapping working hours between EST and IST time zones to ensure real-time collaboration with North American Expert knowledge of TypeScript, NestJS (Node.js), and React. Strong foundation in API design, modular architecture, and SQL data modeling (PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, or MS SQL). Working understanding of Redis, caching, and asynchronous patterns. Proven experience writing automated tests and integrating them into CI/CD workflows. Familiarity with Docker and cloud-based deployment pipelines.
