Business Analyst (Fintech)

🧭 Job Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing fintech team at Accosis. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation. You'll work closely with product, engineering, operations, and compliance teams to define requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure delivery of scalable UPI, merchant, and payment solutions tailored for India's emerging digital economy.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder discussions and research
• Convert business requirements into functional specifications, wireframes, and user stories
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, QA, and Operations to deliver high-quality solutions
• Analyze fintech workflows such as UPI payments, merchant onboarding, KYC, reconciliation, and settlements
• Monitor key product and business metrics; provide insights to improve conversion, efficiency, and compliance
• Create and maintain detailed documentation – BRDs, FRDs, flow diagrams, process documents
• Coordinate with third-party partners (e.g. NPCI, Banks, PSPs) for integration and onboarding requirements
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by validating features and preparing test cases
• Continuously evaluate fintech market trends, regulatory changes, and customer feedback to drive product evolution

✅ Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus)
• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in fintech, banking, or payments domain
• Strong understanding of UPI, merchant systems, reconciliation flows, APIs, and regulatory compliance
• Proficient in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Postman, Excel, and wireframing tools (e.g. Figma, Balsamiq)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to write clear BRDs/FRDs and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Bonus: Exposure to agile/scrum workflows and modern product management practices
