Job Overview

Backend Developer


🧩 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js with TypeScript in a microservices architecture
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using asynchronous programming patterns (Promises, async/await)
  • Design and consume RESTful APIs; document endpoints using Swagger
  • Integrate real-time communication via Socket.io
  • Work with MongoDB (primary DB) and Redis (for caching layer)
  • Handle cloud storage (AWS S3) for user documents, images, and transaction files
  • Optimize system performance using caching, threading, and service decomposition
  • Ensure backend services are secure, resilient, and production-ready
  • Deploy and manage microservices on AWS (EC2, API Gateway)
  • Use GitLab for version control and CI/CD automation


🔧 Key Skills

  • Strong command of JavaScript & Node.js with TypeScript
  • Hands-on with MongoDB, Redis, and API design using Swagger
  • Experience building real-time systems (Socket.io)
  • Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, API Gateway)
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, service-oriented architecture, and system scaling
  • Familiar with GitLab, CI/CD workflows, and team collaboration tools
