Business Analyst / Product Manager

We’re looking for a Business Analyst / Product Manager who goes beyond using AI as a black box tool. You will work hand-in-hand with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to design, shape, and ship AI-native products that solve real-world problems. This role is ideal for someone who understands how AI systems are built, how to manage the uncertainty of machine learning, and how to translate ambiguous opportunities into clear, valuable outcomes using AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI/ML features and products—from ideation to deployment and iteration.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to define problem statements, dataset requirements, and model evaluation metrics.
• Translate business requirements into AI development specs, including model behavior expectations, integration workflows, and user acceptance criteria.
• Analyze data pipelines, model outputs, and failure cases to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drive product decisions based on AI system capabilities, constraints, and performance insights, not just surface-level tooling.
• Shape intuitive product experiences that expose AI capabilities with transparency and usability.
• Coordinate human-in-the-loop systems, model feedback loops, and continuous model refinement.
• Communicate AI performance trade-offs and decisions to business and non-technical stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills

• 2–5 years of experience as a Product Manager or Business Analyst, preferably with AI/ML or data products.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, model training/deployment workflows, and AI product lifecycle.
• Experience working closely with AI/ML engineers and data teams on model development.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable product and business decisions.
• Proven track record of delivering products that involve non-deterministic behavior, e.g., NLP, recommender systems, generative AI.
• Strong communication and documentation skills (e.g., writing model spec briefs, AI flow diagrams, prompt frameworks).

Nice-to-Have

• Hands-on experience with tools like LangChain, Pinecone, Weaviate, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, etc.
• Exposure to LLM fine-tuning, embeddings, RAG, or vector-based search implementations.
• Prior experience in AI product metrics—latency, hallucination rate, trust score, etc.
• Background in data science, statistics, or prompt engineering is a plus.
