Burger Singh is India's leading homegrown burger chain, known for blending bold Indian flavours with global QSR standards. With expanding operations across multiple cities, our business relies on strong technology systems to ensure smooth store operations, accurate order processing, and consistent customer experience. We are looking for an experienced IT Head to strengthen and scale our technology infrastructure.Role : IT HeadLocation : Gurugram (Head Office)Experience : 10+ yearsIndustry Preference : QSR, Retail, Hospitality, FMCG (Preferred but not mandatory)

Role Overview

The IT Head will be responsible for overseeing the company's complete IT infrastructure across stores and the head office. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to handle multi-location IT operations independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • IT Infrastructure Management:
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems across all stores and corporate functions.
  • Manage POS systems, networks, CCTV, billing devices, payment systems, printers, and store hardware.
  • Ensure excellent uptime and smooth functioning of all IT systems.
  • IT Support & Troubleshooting
  • Identify, track, and resolve store-level and office-level IT issues.
  • Maintain a proper log/ticketing system for all IT support requests.
  • Address recurring technical issues and create long-term solutions.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance
  • Implement data security protocols, system backups, and access control.
  • Monitor system vulnerabilities and ensure protection against threats.
  • Maintain compliance with audit requirements and internal policies.
  • Vendor & Technology Management
  • Manage vendors for hardware procurement, AMC, POS solutions, and IT services.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend upgrades to improve efficiency.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure service quality.
  • System Integrations
  • Manage integrations with Zomato, Swiggy, DotPe, ERP systems, and delivery partners.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to API, data sync, and real-time order updates.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of sales data tools and backend systems.
  • Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly IT reports.
  • Maintain asset inventory, license renewals, and system documentation.
  • Track IT expenditure, AMC cycles, and renewal Skills
  • Strong technical expertise in hardware, networking, POS systems, and IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and vendor negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure operations with quick decision-making.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and best IT practices.
  • Experience managing IT for multi-location operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or a related field.
  • Certifications like MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA A+, ITIL are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in QSR/retail/hospitality environments is a plus.
